![]() However, I can now play in 4K HDR, something I couldn't do before (my old screen was a 1080p, no-HDR, and I my old PC couldn't manage 4K). The image in the PC is smoother and prettier. The anti-aliasing, anti-filtering, all the GPU stuffs looks better in the PC. The image quality is worse than the PC in Ultra settings. I can just take off, use my Logitech X52 Pro and my Logitech Throttle to control it (yes, I can and I will tell you how) and it feels good! It looks like the cursor has a kind of acceleration/deacceleration, which should help for those with xbox controller only. I think they had to make it "worse" so the xbox players with the controller can interact better with the menus. the mouse behaviour, it is worse than the PC. You can do everyhing, change radio frequencies, manage GPS etc. Keyboard and mouse works, you can click on the instruments, autopilot, etc, it is all good. However, some stutters are still noticeable. I used to get 19 - 25 around in the airport and 30, 35 maximum over the city. ![]() My second flight was in New Work with a 747. ![]() I recon that I prefer 60FPS than 30FPS, who not? Yes, it does and it is enjoyable, even at 30FPS. I have a worse performance and I knew that. I used to get 50 FPS, 60 FPS in my old PC with settings in High and had a very good quality image (1080p render scale 130%). Flight Sim is capped at 30 FPS and it is noticeable. My first flight was in Liverpool, where I live, with a Cessna. Yes, mouse and keyboard (if compatible) works in the menu but the mouse behaviour is bad. The menus are the same, bla bla bla, and I will not review this interface here. The game launches quite fast, looks like the Xbox uses the storage technology it has to process the data. guess what? My sim started to update! Had to wait for 1h10min (100 Mbps internet). But when I was going to play it for the first time. In Xbox we pre-download the game before the launch on 27th July. Geforce GTX 1080ti, 32GB RAM, Ryzen 3600, 1TB SSD Sold my Gaming (or let's say "Flight Sim PC") and my 1080p screen for £940 I love airplanes, I love flight sims, but I barely play them cause I don't have enough time I made sceneries, airplanes etc mainly for FS2004 and FSX I started in the flight sim world in 2000s So a workaround can be canceling the assignement, open the input menu, and choosing the button showed first. There we go! I will try to be simple, direct and easy to understand. One last thing: when it happens the unwanted combination of buttons, on the scanning mode, the button we want to assign is the first. ![]() What is interesting for us starts at approx. Here’s the link: MSFS | XBOX Series X & S | Configuring Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One | What a Mess! - YouTube I also suggest to watch this fine video by Sim Hanger Flightsimulator which explains further the thing of assigning. I don’t know why this happens but we can solve it as mentioned in a previous post, thus by assigning via the input list. This way of assigniment clearly doesn’t work. I then push the B button on the xbox controller or the B button on the yoke and it lets me immediately go back to the assignement little window with the scanning mode terminated and showing the combination of the buttons mentioned earlier. What I do to get rid of it is using the xbox general button on the peripheral (the yoke) to go back to the xbox main window which though maintains MSFS in standby. Sometimes when assigning a button with the scan function i receive a combination of several buttons which locks the scanning mode indefinitely. And it happens even with the boeing pack, which I own as well. I had the same exact issue with the very same airbus pack. Don’t know if the thing has been solved, so I give my two cents for it. ![]()
